Cheney ... shrugged off the failure to find weapons of mass destruction. "We never had the burden of proof," he said, adding that it had been up to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to prove to the world that he didn't have such weapons. Sooo... if I ask my neighbor if he has a gun, and he fails to prove to me that he does not own a gun anywhere in the world, I get to burn his house, evict him, and kill his family? Even if he's never threatened me and I've been over to his house for dinner countless times? And all I have to do is say I asked?
